I brought this Music Studio Desk because I needed a bigger yet low budget desk for my Music Production etc, the Delivery was quick for me because it came a day before it was meant to be due, good job I was in at the time. It's one of the best desks (and obviously my first low budget desk) that I have had BUT setting it up is a nightmare plus the desk is quiet heavy. I found out that the manual is in the description on this website as a PDF & that it does not come with instructions in the box, it shows you how to set it up but if you have learning difficulties or something it will be hard & frustrating because there's like 20 steps squashed into 7 steps on the PDF Instructions. Once you've set up the table you can't really set it down & set it up again when you move house or move studio because you have to screw/drill the holes into the table unless you're smart & you use screw plates.
I suggest that if you want a Music Studio Desk, get one where the holes are already in place.
Overall I rate it a 3.5 out of 5, the music desk is good for advance music producers and those that are taking things to the next level in their early days.

Good built quality and useful parts, cables, stand etc. so sufficient enough for amateurs, except its ground noise, deep hiss (can be reduced significantly by using suitable software). Value for money. But spend more and get a more decent one for professional record or else.

1st Time I've tried this cable brand so its early days but plugged it in and it works so a good start, seems solid enough for the price but time will tell. For some reason I seem to kill cables at the XLR plug by what looks like excessive cable rotation and I don't mean spinning mike around my head on end of cable but cable always seems to get twisted breaking outer insulation and then a copper core gives up. Could it be because I don't have a mike stand?

This desk is not the size stated. The top tier part that I received measured at 115cm, not 112cm. This means it does not fit in the area I brought it for. I now face having to arrange the top bit getting trimmed, and as I'm pretty sure this is MDF covered with thin veneer, so it's going to be difficult to trim this without ruining the look of the item.
Also, not enough wood screws were supplied, no instructions given and what i could find was very basic. There is also no option to adjust the height of the desk and it is very tall, so not suitable for shorter people.

Quality of the workbench is very good, strong and solid. Definitely worth the money, easy to put together, but make sure you request the fitting instructions before it is delivered to save you time.

Can't Fault the desk itself but the packaging it arrived in was a bit shoddy, bashed in corners, box not sealed down very well and everything was rattling about inside resulting in a few bashes around edges of the desks and the bag of screws, nuts and bolts had spit open spilling the contents around the inside of the box and probably lost a few out the holes in the parcel, luckily there was plenty to spare so in the end wasn't that much of an issue.
Also, be aware that you have to line up the wooden shelves onto the mounts/brackets and mark them off yourself as there are no guide holes like in Ikea products, which is a bit of a pfaff especially with the large desk/shelf if you don't line them up correctly you get a wonky looking desk!!
But once you have it all set up and ready to go it is a really cool unit and well worth the effort you put in to construct it....

I bought this desk as I have recently moved and I had the chance to reorganise my study/studio. As mentioned in another review the item arrived without instructions, which was initially frustrating. I e-mailed Bax customer service at about 7.30pm on a Friday, not expecting to receive a reply but within 30 minutes I had received a PDF with instructions. This is excellent customer service.
The desk itself is sturdy, ergonomically designed and more compact than I expected - not a bad thing. It has allowed me to tidy up my workspace and has improved how I work/record. I recommend the desk but cannot emphasise enough how impressed I was with the customer service.

This desk was a fantastic purchase for my studio, with free delivery and free returns I was instantly attracted to using bax as a company.
The desk arrived on the date ordered in the morning with no damage to the packaging. For anyone wondering as the measurements didn't make sense on the description the width is more around the 110cm mark if that helps anyone out.
Unfortunately there were no instructions in the box so I called bax and explained to receive a PDF sent through email almost immediately. The next issue was the wood parts have no pre drilled holes which I'm yet to fix the table tops onto the frame, I presume this is to give a more custom feel to the desk as everything else is incredible and can't see the manufacturer leaving the holes if it wasn't intensional. The build quality of the metal and the desk itself is absolutely bang on the money and feels a lot more expensive than it is.
I'll be using bax again in the future
