Meet the Lightning version of the renowned iTrack Solo, a compact and robust iOS interface with the famous Focusrite preamplifier.
Design
At first sight, the iTrack Solo Lightning might remind you of an earlier product by the same manufacturer, the Scarlett 2i2. The design of both interfaces is practically identical, particularly when it comes to the front panel. There you'll find two inputs with corresponding gains that provide a visual representation of the incoming signal. On the right of the inputs you'll find a large volume dial that's identical to that of the Scarlett 2i2. The iTrack also has just about the same compact dimensions as the 2i2, making it the ideal partner for travelling musicians and producers.
Features
The Focusrite iTrack Solo comes with an interesting collection of software, including Ableton Live Lite and the full version of Focusrite's Scarlett Plugin Suite. Furthermore, a Lightning cable is included to make the interface completely compatible with the iPad. The iTrack is a versatile, flexible audio interface that makes a great addition to any microphone and instrument setup.

Nadeeltje is wel dat het apparaat op de USB poort voeding nodig heeft en dat de iPad geen voeding krijgt via de lightning poort; daarvoor heb je dan toch weer een spliter en 2 (!) usb voedingen nodig. Als je er de straat mee op wilt (wat qua grootte en gewicht prima kan) moet je dus ook wel aparte batterij meenemen.

Integreert zonder problemen met Logic en garageband. Uitstekend product en helemaal in de Apple stijl.
