Features of the Motu Ultralite MK4
One of the best things about this product is its mixer. It's versatile, has 48 virtual inputs, 7 stereo buses, 3 group sends, network inputs and DSP effects. A physical mixing console with these properties would cost you a fortune! But it's simply built into the Ultralite MK4, and works with laptops, tablets and smartphones. The signal sampling offers 24-bit while the DSP engine works with 32-bit audio quality. In terms of sample rates, this interface comes out on top with an impressive 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz for enormous headroom to facilitate complex mixes.

Ook krijg je voor dat geld veel DSP power, een gratis digitale mixer met dynamics en EQ en ook DAW software.
Verder: Geen last meer van vertragingen met live (microfoon of line) opnames.
Alles is in te regelen via je favoriete browser of op je mobile of I-pad in overzichtelijke menu's. Je hoeft het dus niet in te regelen op de interface zelf, zodat je het kastje niet op je volle bureau hoeft neer te zetten. Het kan natuurlijk wel, want de interface ziet er ook nog prachtig uit op je bureau of audio desk.
Kortom: Een stevige robuuste interface met hoogwaardig aansluit materiaal en uitstekende software en de nodige rekenkracht aan boord en geweldige geluidskwaliteit met 32 bit, boordevol headroom in je mix dus. Zeker waar voor je geld.
Minpuntjes: knoppen aan de voorkant lijken wat fragiel. Zonder de software is de gebruiksvriendelijkheid qua menu structuur wat ver te zoeken en het display is wat klein en monochroom, als je alles via de Motu zelf wilt instellen. Maar met de software is het daarentegen een peulenschil.
