General
The Presonus AudioBox iTwo is the more expansive version of the iOne. In contrast with the iOne, the iTwo has two XLR/jack combo connectors (instead of one XLR and jack input), MIDI in/out, and a mix knob so you can adjust the ratio between the inputs and your computer's sound. One thing that has definitely stayed the same is the fantastic quality. Presonus is known for their outstanding audio quality, and it's easy to see why with the AudioBox iOne and iTwo's high-quality A/D and D/A converters and class A microphone preamplifiers.
The AudioBox iTwo: High-Quality Audio
The iTwo converters work to ensure the high-quality conversion from analogue to 24-bit/96 kHz data on your PC, Mac, or even your iPad. You can also count on a broad dynamic range of no less than 105 dB. But first, the sound of course passes through the class A preamplifiers, which sound more musical and transparent than the more common AB type preamps. You get the kind of quality you need thanks to the remarkably powerful headphone output, which you can use to monitor your vocals, speech or playing without any sort of delay.
Software and MIDI
Are you in the market for software for recording vocals, keyboard or guitar? Then you should try out the free included Studio One Artist! It comes with a bundle of sounds and plugins. Connect the iTwo to your iPad, download the free Capture Duo app, or for multi-track recordings you can get the inexpensive Capture for iPad. Finished recording? Send it all wirelessly to Studio One on your PC/Mac for editing! If your a home producer, then you'll be happy to know that the iTwo is equipped with a MIDI in/out so you can easily connect a keyboard or other MIDI supported device.

Lang verhaal kort, wil je stereo geluid, dan is het mogelijk dat je met dit apperaat dat niet voor elkaar gaat krijgen. Het softwareprogramme, tjah.. daar kun je niks mee instellen.

Als beginner in de "audiowereld" kan ik zeggen dat ik aangenaam verrast ben door de kwaliteit en service van Presonus (heel goede en snelle helpdesk). Dit apparaat is dus echt een aanrader voor beginners, mede vanwege de instapversie van hun DAW Studio One Artist.
De audiointerface voelt degelijk aan en heeft alle opties die je nodig hebt.
Ik kan dit apparaat niet vergelijken met professionele audiokaarten, aangezien ik die nooit geprobeerd heb. De service van Bax is ook super, ze zijn koploper in Nederland
