Steinberg's AXR4 Thunderbolt 2 audio interface sets a new standard when it comes to professional audio recording. As well as plenty of connection options, it features SILK emulation for harmonic distortion designed by Robert Neve and is one of the first interfaces to offer 32-bit audio resolution and a sample rate of 384 kHz. The AXR hybrid preamps ensure clean, natural analogue sound, and due to SSPLL technology, any audio-band jitter is kept to an absolute minimum when the AXR4 is linked up as part of an audio network. Since it also comes with a copy of DSPMixFX AXR mixing software, you get a wealth of routing and monitoring options as well as an incredibly generous fistful of effects to use in monitor mixes. This, coupled with internal DSP processing, leaves your computer with more than enough breathing space for other operations.
