For more than a decade, Antelope Audio's Orion32 Series interfaces have formed a pillar of many a professional recording studio, and for excellent reason. This fourth-gen unit doesn't just have the Orion32 DNA, but all the most recent technical tweaks and even an improved dynamic range. All of it comes neatly packed away inside a rack unit that's just one unit high yet this interface still manages to supple thirty-two analogue inputs and outputs, space for up to 128 input and output channels via Thunderbolt 3, or thirty-two channels via USB at a maximum resolution of 192kHz. And that's not all: the Orion32+ Gen 4 interface is capable of supporting 128 channels via MADI at a maximum resolution of 48kHz, and since Antelope Audio is renowned for insanely accurate audio image analysis and separation, you're assured of exceptional recording detail courtesy of their in-house developed Acoustically Focused Clocking (AFC).

A Deep-Diving Routing Matrix & Dolby Atmos Monitor Calibration Support

The immersive audio experience is becoming more and more common, and so are the systems that support it - like Dolby Atmos. As such, the Orion 32+ Gen 4 already comes kitted out with a specific platform that supports 23 audio formats, covering everything from stereo to Dolby Atmos 9.1.6, leaving just enough room for high-precision speaker and room calibration tools. Everything has been laid out to ensure as fast, creative and intuitive a workflow as possible, so presets can be quickly set and loaded and the improved routing matrix makes things smoother than ever. Just being able to load up complete system routings and mixer settings saves masses of time. Besides the array of inputs and outputs already mentioned, the Orion 32+ Gen 4 also supports ADAT, so that the number of preamps and outputs can be expanded further as needed, while the DC-coupled I/O is a useful tweak when you need to send a CV signal out from your DAW to your hardware.
