The VP83 is an all-in-one microphone for recording HD audio with digital cameras. The lightweight condenser microphone with super-cardioid pickup pattern has a high-quality directional sensitivity, so that background noise is ignored. This means that you can fully focus on the sound you do want to record. Thanks to the standard camera hot-shoe mount with thread adapter, you can mount the VP83 on any camera or stand in the blink of an eye. The1/8-inch cable allows you to easily connect the microphone to the camera.
User-friendly
This shotgun condenser microphone is equipped with three-way gain controls that allow you to easily adjust the input volume in accordance with the recording situation. Additionally, the VP83 is equipped with a low-cut filter, which allows you to easily filter out unwanted background noises. This LensHopper microphone comes with a foam windscreen, but for more windy situations the Rycote Windjammer is also available, which is a windscreen made of fake fur. That Shure leaves nothing to chance when it comes to sound quality, is proven by the microphone’s insensitivity to radio waves. This ensures you won't be unpleasantly surprised by a mobile phone or similar device causing interference.
