This zinc-coloured Penn Elcom steel ball corner has six pre-drilled holes with a diameter of 5 mm each. It is 65 x 65 mm in size and is made from 1.8mm-thick steel. The ball corner protects the corners of your flight case and ensure that its suffers less damage.

Wat er fijn is aan deze balhoeken, is dat de gaten ook echt 5 mm groot zijn (zoals aangegeven op het schema). bij andere merken vindt je soms gaten die net iets kleiner zijn (4,9 of 4,8 mm). Dat geeft meestal problemen bij het boren en de boor zelf verslijt veel sneller. Bij deze balhoeken is dat dus geen probleem.

Ik heb deze bolhoeken gebruikt om te monteren op een flightcase voor mijn mengpaneel. Eigenlijk zijn ze voor een dergelijke koffer iets aan de grote kant, maar wanneer ze gemonteerd zijn zorgen ze wel voor veel stevigheid!
