Would you like to be able to neatly stack away your valuable equipment? Would you like to have easy access to it and to stop having to transport your gear in the original boxes? Then this rack strip is one step in the right direction. It features 9.5 mm diameter punched holes at 15mm intervals, allowing you to mount any equipment you like. It can easily be attached to a flight case by means of its 5 mm mounting holes. This rack strip is fashioned from 2mm steel and has a height of 8 U.

Erg goede kwaliteit rackprofiel voor als je zelf je eigen 19" rack wil bouwen, 1 nadeel is wel dat het bijzagen zodat het in je rack past best moeilijk kan gaan vanwege het harde metaal

Zoals in andere reviews inderdaad afgeslepen van een grotere rail. Echter zeer netjes dus perfect in orde. Metaal is stevig; goede dikte. Ook de laklaag is sterk want bij de montage een paar keer per ongeluk gekrast zonder schade aan de lak. Zonder problemen afgemonteerd met poprivetten van 4,8mm dikte (gaatjes zijn 5mm)

Goed product. Lange lengtes zijn aan beide uiteinden goed afgewerkt. Korte lengtes (zoals de 8 en 4 HE versie) zijn afgeslepen van lange stukken. Dit kan een minimaal lengte verschil en ruwe uiteinden veroorzaken.
Penn Elcom heeft goede producten door kwaliteit. Dit verschil is zichtbaar in afstanden tussen de moergaten. Bij Penn Elcom is de maatvoering tussen gaten exact wat bij goedkope merken nogaleens kan verschillen (appartuur bevestigen is dan lastig omdat bevestigingspunten van apparatuur en rackprofiel niet overeenkomen).
Betrouwbaar merk en product.
Penn Elcom heeft goede producten door kwaliteit. Dit verschil is zichtbaar in afstanden tussen de moergaten. Deze rackprofielen worden blijkbaar van een lange staaf "afgeknipt". Ik had twee stuks besteld: eentje was netjes afgewerkt, maar een ander exemplaar was iets korter en had een open gaatje aan het eind. Goed nadenken bij het monteren op welke kant de krachten komen dus.
Ik heb ze geinstalleerd in een zelfgemaakt studiomeubel: werkt geweldig. Je moet deze profielen trouwens monteren tussen twee wanden die 488 millimeter uit elkaar zitten voor het beste resultaat.
Pluspunten:
- Erg stevig, doen precies wat ze moeten doen
- Genoeg schroefgaten om alles te bevestigen
Minpunten:
- Boven- of onderkant zijn erg scherp, en laatste gaatje kan onafgewerkt zijn wegens "afknippen"
