This Penn Elcom butterfly latch can be built into your flight case. It is made of steel and has a zinc colour. You can also secure the lock with tie-wraps. The lock is fitted with mounting holes, each with a 5mm diameter. The dish is 13 mm deep.

Erg goed product.
Zeer solide vlinderslot.
Sluiting klapt wat stug weg, voor de 1 een minpunt, voor de ander een pluspunt.
Haak van de sluiting heeft geen grote 'sluitweg' om het zo maar te noemen. Goede precieze montage is dus vereist! Je hebt geen speling van meerdere millimeters (in hoogte afstand dus). Ook dit is voor de een een pluspunt en voor de ander een minpunt.
Bovendien zeer scherp geprijsd en hele snelle levering door bax-shop.

Deze sloten hebben wij gekocht als vervanging van de dap sloten op de flightcase voor speakers (2XK115, Artikelnr: HI-D7580). De medewerker van Bax-shop vertelde ons dat, na enige aanpassing, deze sloten zouden moeten passen.
Het resultaat mag er echt wezen, de flightcase is weer als nieuw, en er was geen aanpassing nodig. De popnagels van het oude slot uitboren met een 4,8mm boortje en in het nieuwe slot 4,8mm popnagels ernin. Deze sloten zijn ook veel steviger dan de dap versie.
