General

The FSM 432 MK3 foot switch by Hughes & Kettner is the successor to the FSM 432 MK2. This foot switch was designed to be used with the Grandmeister 36 guitar amplifier head. You can also use it for Hughes & Kettner amps for which you used to use the MK2, such as the Switchblade & Coreblade series. The Tubemeister 36 is also compatible with the MK3. The FSM 432 MK 3 is ergonomically shaped to best accommodate the movement your foot makes while using this MIDI foot switch.

Like its predecessor, the FMS 432 features a 7-pin MIDI connector that allows for phantom power. Additionally, you can also use this Hughes & Kettner foot switch for a 5-pin connection, but then you do need power from a separate power adapter. Thanks to the wide switches, you can be sure you'll use the right one every time. Via the slider switch on the back of the foot switch, you can even choose between preset or stompbox modes. With the FSM 432 MK 3, you have all the functions of your Hughes & Kettner amplifier at your feet.

Wrote the following about Hughes & Kettner FSM 432 MK 3 footswitch

It's a must have if you have got one of the amps it works with, otherwise you'll never be able to use the presets or save yours in case you need them. Most important this pedal opens a whole new universe of potential of your amp that after a little while you start thinking "why H&K selling the pedal as an option?". Otherwise the product is very well thought throughout and just breeze to use. Sturdy built and responsive as any other stomp box. There is nothing than full set of stars.
