The Source Audio SoleMan isn't just any hardware-and-software-based MIDI controller. It's extremely versatile and features two MIDI outputs for direct control over two bits of compatible MIDI kit. In addition, the SoleMan doubles as a USB-MIDI interface for virtual instruments plugged into DAW software. The four footswitches can be used to scroll through patches, scenes, set lists and MIDI macros and, as if that doesn't cut it, Source Audio have fitted a special Switch Port for hooking up two additional external footswitches (not included). Connect your volume volume or your expression pedal to get control over effect parameters and things like built-in wah wah functions, then simply dial in the specifics via the clear, high-contrast LCD display in any dark surroundings.
