The Tone City Golden Face Fuzz is a hand-built guitar pedal dedicated entirely to iconic fuzz sounds. With its BC183 triode-based circuit, this effect delivers a rich, warm and, above all, creamy fuzz, allowing you to effortlessly follow in the footsteps of the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Eric Johnson. The design is remarkably simple: using the Level and Attack controls, you can adjust the balance between mild overdrive and pronounced high-gain distortion to suit your taste. A standout feature is the excellent ‘clean-up’, which allows you to switch instantly between grainy and clear tones via your guitar’s volume control – without any loss of tone whatsoever. Thanks to carefully selected DIP components, a premium gold-plated circuit board and true bypass, the Golden Face is ideal for guitarists who appreciate boutique quality, pure tone and reliability on any pedalboard.
