With the Sela Chau Gong 20" Mantra, you’re bringing a traditional musical instrument into your home that stands out not only for its sound, but also for its appearance. This handmade gong from China is crafted from a special bronze alloy and comes complete with a wooden mallet and a black carrying case. Its characteristic deep tone and rich overtones make the gong ideal for meditation, therapy and musical applications. What immediately catches the eye is the decoration: the dark, matt-finished gong is adorned all round with finely engraved Tibetan mantras. The central ‘Om’ symbol forms the visual focal point, and the engravings give the gong a unique, textured appearance. Thanks to its 50 cm diameter and weight of approximately 3.4 kg, this Chau Gong delivers a warm, long-lasting and responsive tone.
