The Sela Wind Gong 28" Mantra is a handcrafted traditional wind gong from China. This gong is made from a special bronze alloy and is characterised by its flat profile without a raised rim, which creates a wide sound field with long sustain and rich overtones. The authentic Mantra design is characterised by dark, matt tones with engraved rows of the Tibetan mantra “Om Mani Padme Hum” in Tibetan script. The central Om symbol forms the visual focal point and subtly reflects the bronze surface. Whether you’re looking for meditative, therapeutic or musical use, this gong delivers a warm, resonant tone and comes complete with a beech mallet (with a fleece-covered head) and a sturdy carrying case. With a diameter of approximately 70 cm and a weight of 7 kg, this is an impressive instrument for any gong enthusiast.
