The Sela Wind Gong 20" Mantra is a handcrafted, traditional gong that makes an impression both visually and sonically. The flat profile, characteristic of wind gongs, produces a broad and even sound field with rich overtones and a soothing sustain. What makes this gong particularly special is its finish: the dark, matt appearance is beautifully accented by densely engraved rings featuring the Tibetan mantra ‘Om Mani Padme Hum’ in the original script. The central ‘Om’ symbol is an immediate eye-catcher. Thanks to the special bronze, the beechwood mallet with a soft felt head supplied as standard, and a sturdy carrying case, this instrument is ideally suited for meditative, therapeutic and musical purposes.
