The Sela Wind Gong 24" Mantra is a traditional, handmade instrument from China, crafted from a special bronze alloy. Its characteristic flat profile, without a raised rim, creates a broad and even sound field, with a warm tone and rich overtones that resonate for a long time. The Mantra design is particularly striking: the dark, matt surface is adorned with densely engraved circles featuring the Tibetan mantra ‘Om Mani Padme Hum’, beautifully rendered in traditional Tibetan script. This not only gives the gong a serene appearance with beautiful reflections, but also a unique timbre for each instrument. The central ‘Om’ symbolism provides a visual focal point. The gong comes with a beechwood mallet with a felt head and a sturdy carrying case, so you can transport the gong safely and get started straight away.
