The D20 MK2 is the successor to Revv's well-known D20: a compact amplifier where you no longer needed a speaker cabinet. This Two Notes Reactive Load & Impulse Response functionality is of course also in this tube amp with all the benefits of a modeler. New voicing updates, a built-in reverb and a switchable gain boost are just some of the improvements that have been made. The clean sounds of this amp are based on classic California amps but with a plus. Indeed, the Bright switch unlocks extra treble. Containing two 6V6 power amp tubes and two 12AX7 preamp tubes, this amp can deliver a warm tube sound even at low volume as you can turn down the output power from 20 watts to 4 watts via the attenuator.

Some new features

Thanks to the reactive load in Revv's D20 MK, you can achieve an authentic sound even without a cabinet, and of course, thanks to the virtual cabs, you can also practice in silence by playing with headphones. You can also edit your own IRs, load and add post-FX. A novelty with this version is that the gain boost can be activated via MIDI or via the included footswitch for "2-channel" versatility. Both the total amount of available gain and total headroom have been increased so you can play clean or wonderfully overdriven. The built-in digital reverb is very extensive and a buffered FX loop is also provided. Even the design has changed as this amp got a new tolex headshell.
