General

With the DiMarzio DP159F Evolution Bridge, you get an F-spaced variant of the Evolution pickup. This means that this pickup only works on guitars with a Floyd Rose and similar tremolo bridges. This bridge pickup is there for the guitarist who seeks a lot of freedom in leads or solos - and is therefore designed with the approval of the one and only Steve Vai. The difference between the neck and bridge pickup is that the bridge pickup is a bit tighter, more aggressive and louder. This humbucker has a wide dynamic range, a great focus on the low and high, which allows this pickup to come through the music strongly.... The result is a pickup that is sensitive to feedback and also delivers a lot of overtones. For the experienced guitarist, this can be a pickup that can give more freedom in playing.
