A solid, throw-back bridge pickup, the DiMarzio DP 309 PAF 57 dual-coil has a PAF-style 8.63kOhm humbucker design kitted out with a 2.5 inch alnico II magnet. All of that translates into strong low-mid and treble presence plus a super-wide dynamic range. You can also expect outstanding hum-cancelling alongside that classic PAF-spiced tone, while the wax-potted finish efficiently counters feedback. Team up the PAF 57 Bridge pickup with the PAF 57 Neck pickup and gain that sweet and delicious vintage sound plus all the perks of modern design.

DiMarzio DP 309BZ PAF 57 Bridge Electric Guitar Pickup

One of the most awesome pickup I have. Most of my guitars have Seymour Duncan pickups, so this is the first DiMarzio pickup I own and my god what a great pickup.
Medium - Low output, very clear, crips and amazing when pushed.
Using a ToneX pedal, with a Boss SD 1 in front or a compressor when I need more gain.
I had a choice between the DP103 36th anniversary and this one, but I prefer this one. The eq of the pickup is just mind blowing.
Using it in a Les Paul guitar with 60 wiring, 0.022 uF capacitor in the bridge position.
