General

The DiMarzio DP 702BK Blaze Bridge guitar element has a big dip in the mids, while the treble and bass are nicely boosted. This element is therefore quite similar to the comparable DiMarzio Steve's Special. Because the bass is so boosted, this gives the response of the seventh string quite an impact. The cut in the mids ensures that the sound does not become 'muddy' in the lows.
