General
With the rising popularity of 7-string guitars, the demand for guitar pickups with low output and clean sound is also rising. These DiMarzio DP 759CR PAF7 pickups are suitable for both neck and bridge positions and lean towards the classic humbuckers from the late 1950s in terms of performance. The PAF 7 is not a simple adaptation to the 6-string model, but has been designed specifically for 7-string guitars and incorporates the same technology as the Virtual Vintage pickup series for a clean and open sound, which is warm in the lows and a bit 'rounder' in the highs.
