The DiMarzio DP103CR PAF is an element based on 1950s humbuckers. The humbuckers found in Larry DiMarzio's own 1959 guitar are the basis of these pickups. The weak magnetic field of these elements makes the strings vibrate longer, resulting in more sustain. The warm low and clear high make these pickups suitable for the neck and bridge positions.

DiMarzio DP103CR PAF: diverse and dynamic

Despite the humbucker's weak magnetic field, the DP103CR sounds clear and defined, almost like a single coil pickup. The pickups have a mellow tone and a good balance between low and high. Through your touch, you can influence the sound even further. With a soft touch, these pickups sound clear and clean, but if you hit harder you can create a nice round, slightly overdriven sound.
