General
The DiMarzio DP389 Tone Zone T pickup is a humbucker in single coil format specifically for T-style guitars. DiMarzio designed this pickup keeping in mind that most guitarists will install it in the bridge. Partly because of this, this humbucker has a very warm high and the low end is a lot brighter than with the original Tone Zone pickup. As with the original Tone Zone, though, you can expect a hefty midrange and the same response in the low end. The 4-conductor wiring provides the option of being able to switch the humbucker in parallel and a split-coil mode for that classic twang.
