The Fishman Rare Earth Blend is a unique combination of an active humbucker and a hypercardioid mini-condenser microphone fitted to a flexible gooseneck so it can be positioned and pointed at or near the soundhole to dictate the amount of registered low-end. The built-in batteries have a highly respectable 150 hours of use.
Hybrid Potential
Via a simple Blend control on the pickup, you can set a unique mix between the microphone and humbucker and subtly switch up sound profiles during sets. The neodymium magnet in the pickup ensures balanced tone without any unwanted noise and hum and is the element that provides this highly unusual unit its immense potential. The Fishman Rare Earth Blend offers refined and flexible amplification without modifying your acoustic guitar.
