General

Kitted out for the bridge or treble position of a solid-bodied electric guitar, the PAF-style Gibson 490T Modern Classic humbucker has a 8 kOhm DC resistance. This dual coil has been directly based on the legendary Patent Applied For Humbucker but boasts little bit more high-mid presence to support enhanced, mix-slicing sound. The model has also been wax-potted to counter microphonic squeals, while the four-wire setup of this Gibson-designed classic can be installed or switched in parallel, series or slipped. The tone this souped-up pickup delivers perfectly matches that of the 490T bridge version.
