This is the Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded Rails 7-String Humbucker Set. This is a set of 2 double-coil guitar pickups, intended for more modern 7-string solidbody electric guitars in mainly firmer music styles. The Rail design both pickups provide an even magnetic field along all 6 guitar strings, allowing you to enjoy even more tightness and extra sustain with these versions. This high-gain element set for your 7-string is a fresh contemporary take on that classic seventies humbucker combination. The JB Rails bridge humbucker retains the character of the legendary JB with its solid bass, clear trebles and prominent mids. The Jazz Rails pickup at the neck a modern version of the popular Jazz. This provides a neck humbucker with a tight low register and sparkling bright highs. This set of 2 pickups with alnico 8 magnets is hand-built in the US Seymour Duncan factory in Santa Barbara. To combat unwanted feedback, both are potted in wax. To have switching options like coil-split and parallel connection at your disposal, both 7-string double-coil pickups have been given a 4-core cable.
