The Seymour Duncan MortalCoil Multiple-Voiced Active Humbucker Set gives your 7-string electric guitar instant access to three unique tone characters. MC1 delivers an ultra-tight, modern metal sound with powerful lows and focused mids, ideal for aggressive riffs with lots of gain. Switch to Voice 2 and you get the familiar JB and Jazz character for classic punch and warmth. Voice 3 offers distinct, bright single-coil tones - perfect for clean or subtle crunch. Thanks to the drop-in active mount system, the elements are easy to install and fully compatible with existing multi-voiced active systems. The bridge pickup uses a ceramic magnet for tight attack, while the neck pickup deploys an Alnico 5 magnet for responsive dynamics. All necessary parts, from push/pull pots to quick connect cables, are included.
