With the Retribution signature pickups, Seymour Duncan adds more diversity to their active hi-gain humbuckers. These signature double-coil pickups were developed in close collaboration with Dino Cazares who is also known from the bands Fear Factory, Asesino and Brujeria. The Retribution's internal preamp has been tuned so that riffs and leads sound even tighter and more focused. The result is rock solid and still has that organic sound that Seymour Duncan's active humbuckers are known for.

For in the neck position of guitars being transitioned from passive to active or if you just like the look of a passive mount better. Then this seven-string Phase I Neck is the ultimate replacement. Seymour Duncan supplies the wiring diagrams along to make installation as easy as possible. A battery clip, stereo jack and potentiometers are also included with this Dino Cazares Neck Humbucker. The Phase I is also available as a matched set or bridge element. Phase II ones are also available for the neck, bridge or as a full set of 2. For eight-string guitarists, a Phase II for the bridge is available.
