The Seymour Duncan SH-55b is a bridge humbucker resulting from a collaboration with Seth Lover, the inventor of the humbucker. This model is modelled in minute detail on the original 1955 P.A.F., featuring the characteristic plastic bobbins, an Alnico II magnet and a silver-nickel base plate for natural treble response. The pickup is unpotted, delivering that typical vintage openness. Thanks to its medium output and warm, clear tone, this humbucker is a versatile choice for genres such as country, jazz, blues and classic rock. The version with a gold cap and four-core cable offers plenty of flexibility during installation.
