General

The Seymour Duncan SH-55n is the result of a unique collaboration between Seymour Duncan and Seth Lover, the inventor of the humbucker. This neck pickup has been modelled in every detail on the original 1955 P.A.F. design, including plastic bobbins, an Alnico II magnet and an authentic, unwaxed construction. The use of a silver-nickel base plate ensures an open tone whilst preserving natural high frequencies. Thanks to its warm, defined sound, this humbucker is ideal for musicians seeking character and dynamics in genres such as country, jazz, blues and classic rock. The 4-core, shielded cable offers flexible connection options, and the medium output level makes it highly versatile.
