The uncompromising Seymour Duncan Distortion Mayhem™ pack includes an SH-6 bridge and neck pickup. Mount them to the face of your trusty axe and enjoy screaming leads and tight, fat rhythm parts. The 4-wire set-up is made for coil-split switching, giving you the pick of thick tone and sparkling single-coil sound.

The Seymour Duncan Distortion Mayhem™ SH-6 Set

The high output of the SH-6 is largely due to the large ceramic magnet and over-wound coil used to construct it. Since it has more winding than normal, this humbucker has a much higher output signal and is able to push gear like valve amps over into saturated overdrive with increased ease and speed. The SH-6B has been voiced for the bridge and the SH-6N has been voiced for the neck and the bridge pickup has a vintage string-spacing of 1.925" or 48.9mm, making it perfect for guitars with a fixed bridge.

• Please note: The bridge humbucker included in this set (the SH-6B) has a vintage 1.925" (48.9mm) string-spacing (the measurement between the two outermost magnet poles). As such, this bridge pickup is compatible with guitar fitted with a fixed bridge and incompatible with guitars fitted with a tremolo bridge where a wider string-spacing is required.
