The Seymour Duncan Slash 3.0 Humbucker Set is Slash’s most aggressive signature set to date, designed for those moments when you need just that little bit more ‘kick-ass’. Think more output, a faster attack and tighter lows, without losing that familiar Slash clarity and honesty. This set comprises a neck and bridge humbucker that together deliver a recognisable rock foundation: bold, direct and yet precise. Ideal for players who want their amp to bite just that bit harder, whilst retaining definition.

Developed for more bite

Slash commissioned Seymour Duncan to build this 3.0 version with a clear mission: more punch for a big live setting. The result is a humbucker set that responds more quickly to your playing and comes across as more aggressive than previous Slash series. The dual-coil design keeps the sound nice and quiet (hum-cancelling), whilst the rough-cast Alnico V magnet delivers a solid punch and a pronounced midrange. From powerful riffs to cutting leads: you get a modern dose of power, but with a classic feel.

Vintage fit and classic construction

This Slash 3.0 set is hand-built in Santa Barbara (USA) using traditional construction methods, such as wooden spacers and vacuum wax potting. A 1-conductor braided shield cable has also been chosen: perfect for an authentic, vintage-style installation (though less suited to extensive coil-split wiring). Thanks to the long-leg mounting, it also fits perfectly in vintage-style guitars, such as Les Paul® and SG® models. This allows you to combine a classic look (zebra bobbins) with Slash’s most biting output to date.
