With the Seymour Duncan Slash 3.0 Humbucker Set, you’ll be getting the most aggressive and high-output pickup set in the Slash series, without compromising on clarity. This set was developed to meet Slash’s need for more bite and a tighter response during a special Guns N’ Roses gig. The result: a humbucker tone with tighter lows, a faster attack and a direct, rock-snarl sound that remains clear and precise. The black nickel covers also give your guitar a stylish, dark look.

More bite, more control

The Slash 3.0 is built around a rough-cast Alnico V magnet: powerful, punchy and with a pronounced mid-range that cuts effortlessly through a mix. The bridge pickup delivers extra drive and aggression for riffs and leads, whilst the neck pickup remains musical and transparent for solos and clean passages. Thanks to the classic build method – including wood spacers, traditional components and vacuum wax potting – you get modern power with a familiar, ‘authentic’ humbucker feel and minimal feedback at high volumes.

Assembly & comprehensive cabling

This version features a shielded 4-conductor cable, ideal for coil-splitting, series/parallel wiring and phase switching. In addition, the mounting posts are short, allowing the set to fit into more guitars, such as flat-top models, thinner bodies and many superstrats. Direct body mounting is also possible. The pickups are hand-built in Santa Barbara (USA). Please note: for pickups, the right to return is generally forfeited if the cable has been cut or soldered, or if the pickup is damaged.
