General
The Seymour Duncan SSL-6 Custom Flat is a single-coil pickup designed for guitarists who want to give their Strat a bit more punch and warmth. The use of hand-wound, high-powered Alnico V magnets of equal length ensures optimal string balance, particularly when playing with modern string sets and a flat fingerboard radius. The flat magnetic poles ensure an even output across all strings. This pickup performs well in both the neck and bridge positions and delivers a powerful, present tone that lends itself to genres such as Texas blues rock, classic rock and heavy rock. With a DC resistance of 13.3 kOhm and PVC wiring, this pickup gives your guitar a full-bodied sound – perfect for distortion, yet clear when played clean. The wax treatment prevents unwanted feedback, and the white cover gives your instrument a fresh look.
