The Seymour Duncan STK-S7 Vintage Hot Stack Plus Strat is an alnico 5 single-coil guitar element that fits perfectly into ST-style electric guitars in particular, giving you more powerful sounds without having too much output at your disposal right away. This noiseless element delivers bright, sparkling guitar tones with just a bit more punch and alnico 5 bar magnets are used for the most authentic amplified guitar sound possible. This makes your guitar chords sound fuller and more powerful, while single notes and your lead come across with a lot more conviction than with a traditional vintage pickup.
Vintage Hot Stack Plus Strat: completely silent single-coil playing in every position
While keeping the look of that classic Stratocaster pickup intact, Vintage Hot Stack Plus Strat performs effortlessly in any electric guitar position. The special lower coil that injects negative hum ensures the STK-S7 remains completely silent while playing. Each copy of this Seymour Duncan element is hand-built in Santa Barbara, California. The 3-wire allows switching to an even more faithful single-coil mode for added variety. Moreover, each pickup is carefully tuned at the end of the manufacturing process to maximally suppress any humming and also dipped in wax to ensure feedback-free guitar tones.
