Alpha ALP500-A33 500K Logarithmic Potentiometer

There's nothing worse than unwanted hum, growl or clicks interrupting the beautiful tone of your guitar or bass. If this is happening regularly whenever the volume is adjusted, it might be time to swap out the potentiometer. The Alpha ALP500-A33 is such a replacement potentiometer and, since it has a logarithmic resistance curve of 500K, it's designed to handle the high output of pickups like humbuckers and even screwless knobs can be pushed onto the fitted split shaft with ease.

• Please note: This potentiometer has a metric (coarse) shaft with 18 teeth (knurling) and is only compatible with metric knobs. These knobs can be found on models like those made in Japan, China, Korea and Indonesia. For American made knobs, it's best to use potentiometers made by companies like Fender or CTS.
