Luckily, Alpha offers an excellent, affordable replacement part in the form of the ALP500-B38. With a 500k, linear taper, it is the perfect tone control for guitars with high-output pickups. The short shaft is great for guitars with a pickguard. You can easily mount control knobs with a screw on the potentiometer's solid shaft.

Ik heb het niet gebruikt voor een audio toepassing maar om een toerenteller mee te ijken. Dat werkte overigens perfect.

Wat ik wel kan vertellen is dat het degelijk aan voelt. De draaiknop voelt ook zeer solide aan met draaien. Verder is t wat het is.... een potmeter...
