General
When the potentiometers in your electric (bass) guitar are worn, this may result in a nasty cracking sound when you touch the volume or tone control. Luckily, there's an easy cure with the affordable Alpha ALP250-B32 potentiometer. This version makes for a great tone control thanks to its 250K linear taper. You can easily mount screwless knobs thanks to the split shaft.
Tips or comments about this productPlease note: this potentiometer features a coarse shaft with 18 teeth and is only suited for coarse knobs. These knobs can be found on guitars from Japan, China, Korea, and Indonesia. For American knobs, it's best to use potentiometers by brands like Fender and CTS.
