That's because this is an active full range, flat response speaker cabinet that brings out every nuance of the amp or effects model beautifully. There is no shortage of volume and headroom, as there is a D-class power amplifier built in of no less than 1,000 watts. Thanks to the integrated tilt legs, you can also use the FR-12 as a monitor. Nice bonus is the authentic Tweed finish, which makes this active speaker cabinet look like a traditional Fender amp.
