StewMac SM0586 brown binding tape allows you to achieve incredible clamping force. This makes this tape the right choice for holding stiff wooden bindings in place. Of course, this tape is also great for fretwork. This narrow tape has a width of 6.5 millimetres, so it also fits smoothly between the highest frets. One application is strong enough to protect your fretboard.
Tips or comments about this product
- Note: Not recommended for use on vintage or delicate finishes. For soft woods, first stick the tape on a cotton T-shirt for less adhesion. Always remove the tape slowly and carefully and at a 45-degree angle to the wood grain. If necessary, heat the tape with a hairdryer to soften the glue.
