StewMac SM0660 orange multi-purpose tape - 6.5 mm

StewMac's high-quality SM0660 was not only given a bright orange colour but is also a multifunctional tape that you can use in numerous situations. This narrow tape is only 6.5 millimetres wide, so it can also be used between the highest frets to protect your fretboard. This is also an excellent tape for masking off a finish when touching up and refinishing. Just make sure you never leave tape on guitar lacquer for too long and be extra careful with vintage instruments or with spruce.

• Note: Not recommended for use on vintage or delicate finishes. For soft woods, first stick the tape on a cotton T-shirt for less adhesion. Always remove the tape slowly and carefully and at a 45-degree angle to the wood grain. If necessary, heat the tape with a hairdryer to soften the glue.
