General

StewMac's SM4479 neck rest is equipped with a special cork coating that ensures a firm grip on the neck without risk of damage. When you want to make your own repairs, this versatile tool definitely comes in handy. This support is ideal when you want to hammer frets, for instance, but can also be used as a clamp when you need to re-gluing a fretboard. The support measures 30 centimetres but if desired, you can cut this support into shorter lengths so that you have smaller clamps when gluing frets.
