Hohner take a classic accessory for singer-songwriters and buskers and give it some solid upgrades. The FlexRack harmonica holder features manually adjustable height and angle for the ideal position and adjustable tension to keep a firm grip on your harp - no tools required! Simply slot in your harmonica from the rear and the rubber-coated clamp holds it firmly in place, without any risk of scratching or damaging the cover plates. The neck strap has also been given a comfy, ergonomic design so it can support long sets and playing sessions and, since the FlexRack is compatible with models with a maximum length of 16.5cm, it can handle most harmonicas.

Deze mondharmonicahouder is goed instelbaar, maar niet handig als je regelmatig van mondharmonica wisselt op een podium. De schroeven, boutjes, moertjes raken los als je het mondstuk naar beneden beweegt om een andere mondharmonica erin te plaatsen.

Contrairement aux harmonicas diatoniques, lorsque l'on utilise un chromatique, et en particulier un modèle à embouchure ronde (comme le Suzuki ou le Hohner CX 12), l'axe de l'embouchure doit être parfaitement dans l'axe de la bouche pour avoir une bonne étanchéité. Ce que seul le FlexRack permet d'obtenir, avec sa grande latitude de réglages.

Toutefois, même en bout de glissière, j'ai trouvé la "mâchoire" encore trop haute. J'ai donc repercé un trou plus bas dans chaque branche latérale.

De même, les chromas cités étant très épais (35 mm), les vis de réglage de la force de pinçage sont pratiquement en bout de course ; je les ai donc remplacées par des plus longues.

Moyennant quoi, mon installation est parfaite.
