General
The Audio Technica BP894 MicroSet is a durable, compact, lightweight headset microphone with a matte black finish. It is delivered including an Audio Technica AT8539 power module with a 3-pin XLR connector. This condenser microphone requires a phantom power supply of between 11 and 52 volts. It has a directional capsule in a rotating housing. You can wear the headset on the right as well as on the left side of your head. Once in place, you only need to aim the capsule at your mouth. As it has a cardioid pickup pattern, the ambient noise is reduced to a minimum and you won't be bothered by feedback.
BP894 MicroSet: comfortable
Once you are wearing it, you will hardly notice the mic, thanks to its light weight - the ear hook, microphone arm and capsule together weigh less than two grams. For artists who really run around, the BP894 is included with an AT8464 headband, which allows you to clamp the mic behind both ears.
