General
Based on the original hats that first dropped back in the '90s, the Zildjian Z Custom Hi-Hats have been designed from the ground up to support heavier rock and metal playing styles. When closed, these hats unleash a prominent and mega-defined chick and, when open, release massive projection supported by controlled overtones. Each hat has been made from a high-quality B20 bronze alloy and, while the upper hat has been hammered with a unique star pattern, the lower hat has a larger, industrial hammer pattern, adding heavier depth to the response.
