General
With the Istanbul Agop XDDH17 XIST Dry Dark Series hi-hat of no less than 17 inches, you get unique cymbals in the house. Partly because of its diameter, it is obviously not a 'normal' hi-hat. This cymbal is therefore particularly suitable for electronic music, funk, hip-hop or experimental genres. The hi-hat has a dry and dark sound with short sustain and is well controlled in volume.
Multi-functional hi-hat
Perhaps the best thing about this hi-hat is that it is multi-functional. After all, you can also use the top side of the hi-hat as a 17" crash, for example. You can use the slightly thicker bottom side as a light ride-cymbal. You can also experiment with other cymbals from this Instanbul XIST Dark series to create your ideal hi-hat sound!
