Sabian FRX Hats 14-inch hi-hats

Sabian's 14-inch FRX Hats have been specially designed to produce fewer frequencies resulting in the perception that they are quieter which makes them perfect for smaller-sized gigs. While alternative solutions don't give you the same sound as you're used to, these special hi-hats do. They consist of a thin top cymbal and a medium-weight bottom cymbal. The result is a versatile hi-hat with a crisp sound, an excellent response and a bright stick definition.

Sabian 14-inch FRX Hats

These hi-hats are made of Sabian's special B20 alloy which is primarily a combination of copper and tin with traces of silver. The metals are melted together and then poured into a mould and left to cool. They then go through a hammering process that is done by a special machine followed by another machine-based process that creates the holes around the bell. The machines are all expertly operated by hand to ensure optimal quality. Each cymbal is then hand-tested and hand-weighted too. They are then left to age before once again being hand-tested to ensure that they match the exacting standards required by Sabian before being made available for purchase.
