The Zildjian Company is world famous, and they've earned every little bit of their great reputation. Their products are always of the highest quality and they have an incredibly wide range of different sounding cymbals, so that you can find the perfect Zildjian cymbal for every situation. The K family cymbals get their name from the man who developed their sound in 19th century Turkey: Kerope Zildjian, and while this hi-hat does belong to that family, it does have a little twist.
Zildjian K/Z 13-inch hi-hat
This 13-inch K/Z hi-hat is something special, indeed. It consists of a medium-weight K Zildjian top and an extra-heavy Z Dyno Beat bottom cymbal. This combination generates a dry, yet musical sound when played with your drum sticks, and a bright, sharp 'chick' when played with the hi-hat pedal. It's a set of hybrid hats that delivers great barks as well, while it still has plenty of stick definition for more intricate patterns.
A unique combination of a medium-weight K top and an extra heavy Dyno Beat bottom that grants plenty of stick definition and musical tone, while also providing a well-pronounced 'chick' and not forgetting the dark sound of the K series.
