General

The Gibraltar Hardware SC-1408SSD gives the resonant side of your snare more definition, control and projection. This 14-inch die-cast tension rim distributes tension evenly and remains stable in tune thanks to its reinforced tension points. The large snare gates provide extra space for the strings, improving response. In addition, the rim is slightly oversized, allowing the sheet to vibrate more freely and you retain more resonance. The batter hoop is available separately.
